Announcement about upcoming Italian classes in Great Barrington/ Housatonic.
There's an Italian renaissance brewing! Without even putting out a shingle, all of a sudden I have 18 Italian students, and openings for a few more!
If you are planning or dreaming of a trip to Italy, consider this your invitation to sign up! I will be teaching one beginner and one intermediate class starting in early January. In this first of several twelve-week sessions, Beginners will get a full foundation in pronunciation, common conversation, important grammar concepts, verb conjugation and vocabulary. Those of you who have somewhat of a foundation in Italian, our classes will feature more complicated conversation topics, along with frequent mini-lessons on grammar, culture, and pronunciation.
In both classes we'll use movies, songs, stories, podcasts, memes, you name it, as content for our class, and you will be invited to contribute your own ideas. Class will culminate with an Italian potluck and cooking lesson.
This is partly a selfish endeavor on my part, as I am also eager to get (back) to Italy as soon as possible. In fact, I'm cooking up a trip for next fall, maybe with you included.
To sign up for a class, or to ask questions about pricing, etc, please get in touch and I'll let you know next steps.
